Notes On Prices

The new prices above are for genuine UK stock items. I try to include as many shops as I can, but please do your own research. Remember, if you find a much cheaper price it is almost certainly a grey import - so make sure you know what this means for you, and make an informed choice.

star Many of the shops listed above contribute financially to the cost of running Camera Price Buster, thereby keeping it free for you - these shops are indicated with a yellow asterisk, please use them when you can. When you click through to a shop, you may be directed via a third party to enable the shop to indentify that your visit came from here. Some shops pay a commission on these sales. This does not alter the price you pay.

Product: Canon Battery Grip BG-E13
Although more expensive than third party options, having spent over a thousand pounds on a camera I see little wisdom in attaching cheaper third party electronics to it. It is expensive, but it still only equates to around 10-15% of the cost of the camera body, and all grips are expensive irrespective of which camera maker you are talking about.

I was a little sceptical at first about this grip because it was made largely of plastic and I had been used to Nikon grips made from alloy, but in the end was pleasantly surprised but how solid and firm the grip was when attached to the camera. Like all grips it has its pros and cons. I don't like using a strap all the time so find grips useful as I feel more confident holding the camera. Each person will have their own preferences, but in the context of quality and functionality I give this five stars.
